There are many online and printed resources available for boaters planning trips on California rivers.  Check out our paddling links section for several of the most popular.  California Creeks offers write-ups of many of California's whitewater runs.  Dreamflows brings together online, real-time river flow information.  In addition LPP has put together some additional river information and river safety management plans for the rivers we run most often.

What's a safety management plan? A safety management plan provides information on how to access professional medical assistance. It lists emergency phone numbers, closest hospital (including directions), closest phone, evacuation route, and other relevant information.  LPP trip leaders should bring along a safety management plan for official club trips, to the extent that such information is available. LPP encourages leaders of all trips--both club and private--to print and bring a copy of a safety management plan.
