Camp Lotus Weekend

Camp Lotus Weekends are club paddling events held on the South Fork of the American River during the summer in June – September. This year we have added an October event!  The Coloma to Greenwood (C2G) Run consisting of only class II rapids is available on both Saturday and Sunday for novices who have completed at least one kayaking course taught by a professional instructor. Intermediate paddlers use this stretch to reinforce precision paddling, efficiency, and to hone rescue skills. On Saturday the Gorge Run and on Sunday the Chili Bar Run with class III rapids for more advanced paddlers are organized with a paid shuttle service costing $10 per paddler.  Camping is available at the Camp Lotus campground in Lotus for $22 per night.
